Living by Night

519.00

As one of UK’s largest land predators, badgers are commonplace throughout the country, living in green areas of our towns and cities as well as in deeper countryside. Appearing mostly at night to forage for food, however, they tend to be most routinely observed by humans as roadkill.

During many hours in hides I was treated to repeated visits of this foraging badger. This is, however, one of the few photographs was was both well lit and sharp, revealing the striking presence of this nocturnal creature. Beauly, Scotland, UK
